Price: $40.00
Pros: Pretty good overall, love yelling at people over the PA
Cons: I dont think it's the CB just need a better antenna for better reception.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I really enjoy having a CB on the pavement and in the trails. Helps keep connected, I've learned that with a basic CB Radio as long as you have a good antenna, you'll do just fine.

Price: $39.99
Pros: Size, simplicity
Cons: no extras
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought the Uniden 510XL primarily because it is compact and will fit almost anywhere in a Wrangler cabin. This little device is nestled to the left side of my instrument panel on top of my dash and it does not interfere with my line of sight for driving. The mic fits comfortably in my hand, but I would like to have a little longer cord for the mic.

I only use the cb for the trails, not daily chatter, so simple is perfect for me. Some prefer knobs and gizmos on their cbs that the Uniden does not provide. It has 3 knobs - volume, sql, and channel. If you are looking for more details, this is not the cb for you. If you want to be able to get into your cabin without you or your passenger hitting heads, scraping arms, or knocking knees on a big metal box of a cb, then consider the Uniden 510XL.

Price: $150.00
Pros: Compact
Cons: Can be a little hard to understand people over it.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got the kit from Quadratec. Came with the radio, antenna, antenna mount, and antenna cable (everything you need).

It's a pretty decent radio, sometimes transmissions are a bit hard to understand on the tiny thing but overall its a pretty sturdy product. Yes I would recommend it to others, in fact I have. It super simple install with the kit, took me about 20-30 min.

Pros: Works flawlessly. No frills. No extra unnecessary functions. Reliable. Easy install.
Cons: Handset feels "cheap", but functions flawlessly.

Comments: Recieved this used from a friend for free. Works great, perfect for trail usage. No frills, no nonsense, and funtional. Plenty of channels, and clear as a bell. Would recommend to anyone. Sure there's plenty of better CB's out there, but this one works great for me.

Price: $70.00
Pros: Small, easy to mount no frills, easy to tune
Cons: no frills, smallish speaker
Recommended? Yes

Comments: If you want a little radio with big radio guts this is it. No bells and whistles just a great little reliable radio. With a properly tuned antennae I get great reception and transmission on trails and roads.

Don't think you can beat it for the price.

Plus at its small compact size I was able to mount it in the Armrest of my JK.

I recommend an external speaker though

Comments: Easy to install and figure out the controlls. It has the basics; squelch control, volume, big knob to change the channel, noise limiter. I like it cause it was cheap and basic which were the two thing s I wanted. I would definitely recommend the product.

Price: $164.00
Pros: Small unit, fits out of the way with the extra TJ mounting bracket. Excellent reception.
Cons: When using the extra TJ mounting bracket, the speaker is nestled down by my leg, making it difficult to hear.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Installation was a breeze, and the range and sensitivity is great - I seem to hear and talk to others better than many of my trail mates.

The speaker issue was resolved with an Bearcat external speaker (the 510 has an external speaker jack) routed up and hangs from the roll bar, a must when mounting the unit on the shift tunnel cover, down by the driver throttle leg.

Pros: small footprint, easy to read LEDs, It does its job on the cheap!
Cons: no weather channel?
Recommended? Yes

Comments: You get more than what you pay for here, with that being said, don't pay a lot. Its a basic CB. I tuned my antenna (A MUST DO) and I'm getting 10 miles out of it easy.
