Price: $60.00
Pros: small, lightwieght, 40 channel, loud enough
Cons: havent seen any
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Bought it along with a stainless steel antenna base and firestick antenna about 2 years ago. Ran the wires, plugged everything up, and tested it to check operation. Worked fine right out of the box up to a mile away in an area with buildings and trees. Knew that was good enough for me. Has literally had mud and water splashed all over it and keeps on truckin. Ive never submerged it so dont know how that would go. All in all id say a very good trail radio thats reasonably replacable.

Price: $0.99
Pros: works well, cheap, compact
Cons: has minimal features
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This works extremely well for off-roading. Doesn't have a lot of features so if you are looking for a cb with rf gain or PA this is not the CB for you. Very compact--makes mounting a cinch.

Price: $33.69
Pros: Compact Durable Very affordable
Cons: Short microphone cord
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I purchased this specifically for trail use in my Jeep. It's compact size is ideal for the limited space. Uniden has been making CB radios for a very long time, and this little rig is made well for the price. The main circuit board was redesigned in 2011 using SMT (Surface Mount Technology) for some of the components, so if you're an electronics tech & you want to mod it to improve it's performance, you'll find info for the older model 510XL radios on the internet.

The affordable price will keep me from getting depressed if it gets stolen, I'm definitely not going to put a $200.00 radio in a Jeep. The only con for this radio is that it has a teeny mic with a very short mic cord. Still, for 33 dollars and free shipping from Amazon you can't go wrong with this if you want some com in your Jeep.

Price: $33.50
Pros: Small, can fit most anywhere
Cons: Not very much power, limited distance
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I installed this under my steering wheel and its so small it doesnt hit my leg at all. Great product but it is pretty limited on power so you wont get the range of the more expensive larger models. For wheelin it is great since you are pretty close, I am able to send and receive clearly for about a mile.

A very simple operation a swr meter would come handy built into it but a $10 meter at radio shack works well to tune it

Price: $50.00
Pros: Small and easy to hook up.
Cons: not loud enough
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I just recently hooked up my cb in my "new" zj. When on the highway sometimes it really hard to hear someone over the cb with the road and tire noise. I will always have a cb in any 4x4 that I own.

Price: $50.00
Pros: Small, clear, powerful, easy to use
Cons: Weak PA output, flimsy mic cord
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a very versatile unit. It fits almost anywhere, and the noise filter works well. The mic can get a bit scratchy after a lot of use, probably due to the cord becoming loose.
