There was no choice for the GRANT XL, but that is the 2nd CB installed! Many mods to this Unit and would highly recommend if you will be way back in no mans land, when things go wrong. This radio has saved me many a times!

Nice size, placed it inside my center console and added an external speaker. Range seems to be short, but need to fine tune the antenna. Overall, very pleased.

I'm a total newb when it comes to radios so i made sure not to let lots of chrome nobs and meters get the best of me. its small easy to use and works great. but i recommend a new Mic handle for one more comfortable.

Have owned this for a number of years and had it installed in a few different rigs. Sends and recieves great with a tuned antenna.

Good basic radio. Wish it were louder - I had to get a speaker for it. Otherwise no probs.

I really like this because the squelch is great and it is really small so it is great to mount. Probably the most used radio that I know of around Vancouver.. but when I get it again I would have an ext speaker brought up to - or point to the driver and leave the unit in the Tuffy center console. Drill a hold for the mic and the ext speaker.

Easy to install in a small interior such as a wrangler . Good product all around , I have owned three other unidens in other 4wd's and they all performed well with dust and dirt in the cab.
