Price: $1.00
Pros: Works well
Cons: No scan feature, knobs are a bit stiff.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: (Price reflects that it was a gift)

Havent played that much with, it NEEDS as with most CB radios, a good clean power source. Hooked up to another house mounted antenna and a DC power source it performed great. Jeep power... not so great, but that will be fixed soon.

Pros: Small and Compact, works great
Cons: none

Comments: Got it on my Jeep with a fiberglass whip and works great! Talk to truckers for road conditions just fine and added a PA Speaker too so I can yell at people on the road. The 5W output for the PA though be a little better... kinda quiet

Price: $29.00
Pros: Works good as a back up CB in my Freightliner and as primary CB in my '91 YJ & '05 KJ CRD.
Cons: Not as good as my Galaxy CB but less likely to be stolen from the Jeep.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a tough little CB. Just make sure to remove it and place it in a 1 gallon zip-lock bag before trying to cross a river. Holds up well with rain. Very good reception when used with a 4' Fire-stick antenna. I use this model Midland in 2-Jeeps and as a back up radio in my 2003 Freightliner Columbia. Usually this model Midland can be purchased at Love's Travel Centers and Flying-J Travel Centers across the country for $29.99 making it cheap to replace when it does get damaged or stolen.

Price: $40.00
Pros: Gets the job done well
Cons: Cheap Plastic and Dials
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The CB is pretty new and it really does well on the trails. It is small enough to hide away but powerful enough to talk to your buddies while mudding.

Price: $29.00
Pros: Sounds good and was easy to install and tune an antenna too
Cons: mic plug can be a challenge
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Sounds great. One challenge I had was the weight of the coord loosened the plug on the mic. This probably happened because I hung a handheld radio on it because friends are too cheap to buy a cb.

Price: $50.00
Pros: Cheap easy to use with simple controls.
Cons: No back light.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a great little CB for your jeep. It is small and can fit into tight spaces with relative ease. The controls are easy to use sice it only has Squelch and RF gain. It has full 40 channel opperation and an instant channel 9 switch along with an outlet for a PA. I use a 3 foot K40 fiberglass antenna ontop of my jeep and i get excellent range for a 50 dollar cb in a somewhat urban environment.

Pros: Its small, fits just about anywhere and had good speakers.

Price: $30.00
Pros: great performance, PA function, RF gain and squelch controls on one knob
Cons: none so far
Recommended? Yes

Comments: After my $100 Uniden crapped out on me, I went on recommendation of several Jeep owners and they told me to get the Midland. Went up to a local QT truck stop and bought it for $30. Great CB, can't believe it works better than my old Uniden that cost more than 3 times more.

Price: $98.99
Pros: Small design. Instant Ch 9. 40Ch. PA Switch.
Cons: Short power cable.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This unit is just a great unit all together.
It is small and can fit almost anywhere you want.
Has Public address feature and ext speaker.
I paid $98.99Cdn, you can get it online for $50.00 or so... if they have it in stock.
The downside is the length of the power cord, If you battery is on the opposite side of mounting (IE. Mounting CB on driverside and Battery on Passengerside) then you will need a bunch of extra cable.

Other than that its a great unit and compact design.
Great I love it.
