Comments: For what I use it for it is pretty good, but if you want chatter and distance go with the Cobra and a good whip. You can buy whips at most truck stops and the staff are pretty helpful... when in doubt about CB's... ask a trucker.

Comments: Simple, easy and cheap. Maybe too cheap. The provided mic didn't even work and had to be replace right out of the box. My only gripe is that it turns on to either chanel 9 or channel 33, and you never know which. So either hard wire it to a positive lead, or be prepared to flip through the channels every time you re-start. I wired to the Acc. lead off the back of the Cigarette lighter plug, so it turns off every time I shut-off the engine.
