Price: $40.00
Pros: Compact and affordable. Gets great reception when properly tuned. Weather Radio Build in.
Cons: Wish it had a weather alarm feature. Wish the speaker was louder.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a good radio to have in a Jeep. I have a Cobra 29WXNWST that I used in my pickup but I just could not find a location that I comfortable with in my Jeep. I installed this radio on the driver side under the dash and it is easy to forget it is there when I'm not using the radio. Needs an external speaker to hear on the highway. The weather works great and you can use the mic button to advance to a different weather channel. If this CB had a louder speaker and a weather alarm I would give it 5 stars. Overall you cannot go wrong with this radio.

Price: $40.00
Pros: Looks good, sounds good, sends well.
Cons: A little bulky, the only place I really had to mount it out of the way was on the coin tray above the center stack.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Sends well, sounds clear enough and the speaker is plenty loud for trail use.

Price: $40.00
Pros: Small fits in tight spaces
Cons: limited features
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Good small basic CB for the trail if joined with a decent atenna of course. If were using it on the highway or for anything then just the local trail I think I would skip this one and spent the money on a better setup.

Price: $29.99
Pros: Cheap and basic (incase of being ripped out if broken into)
Cons: Limited features and reception.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I wanted a simple CB for trail ride communication. However, I didn't want to pay alot of money since I have been broken into a few times. Thus, for only $29.99, I can handle a minimal loss of that amount. Limited on features, but perfect for trail communications.

Price: $35.00
Pros: Cheap and easy to install, works great
Cons: Default is channel 9
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got my midland cb at Best Buy for $35 dollars which is pretty cheap as far as CB's go. I also bought their $20 antenna for this particular CB. I wasn't expecting much, just something to mess around with, however it works very well. I have had no problems with it. Works great, the speaker is loud (even from inside my glove box where I have it installed) and the sound is as clear as day. It works well as both a CB and a PA. If you choose to use it as a PA as well I would recommend one of radioshack's loudspeakers. PA option on the midland CB is also clear and very loud! This product is great and I would recommend it to a friend.

Price: $25.00
Pros: Small - Fits anywhere The antenna mount cost more than the radio!
Cons: Every time it comes on it's on channel 9 which annoys the living crap out of me.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: It was quick and easy to install (but I also had the carpet out to be replaced)
Only had to drill one hole in the body at the antenna mount which definitely puckers the old posterior, but other than that no issues.
Mounted it below the glove box next to the passenger's left knee underneath. The whole unit is only about 4 inches wide, so it doesn't take up much real estate.
Had the antenna tuned and I now have a range of roughly 8 miles (on flat ground), more than enough for trail riding.

Price: $35.99
Pros: The unit is very small and can be mounted anywhere. The antenna has great reception and didn't even need to be tuned.
Cons: Not many con's yet, I just bought it a few days ago. So far the only con is mounting it. I never want to sell my jeep, but if I trade in for something else (still jeep) I don't want to have drilled into the plastic dash boards that all those family people love to have clean.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I just recently bought my Cb radio, but already I love it. it'll definately make it easy to talk when out on trails. Luckally I found it at the Flying J on sale, it was normally $49.99 and I got it for $35.99. I mounted it under my dash to the left of the steering wheel next to the door. So far that seems like a great place, it's hidden from any would-be break-in attempts. I mounted a 4' whip on my custom roof rack bars with a folding bracket. This bracket makes things real nice for any close quarters that I may have forgotten to fold the antenna down, as it just folds itself. In my opinion this is a great radio for the price.
