Price: $300.00
Pros: Great clarity, medium modulation, 8+ mile range at night METTC terrain, loud talking radio with the right linear amp and dead-key adjustment and good ant.
Cons: None!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Fanatastic radio if you really want to talk loud and step on people during eventsor just deep in the woods. Throw a road king mic on it and a good 200 watt linear, and a dual helical coil antenna that is properly installed and grounded and you got yourself a radio!

Price: $0.01
Pros: Built-in SWR
Cons: Kinda bulky
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This particular radio was donated to me. So its in extremely used condition as local game warden ripped it out of a poacher's rig and gave it to my dad along with 2 or 3 other radios. But it took the abuse pretty well. It still sends and recieves, but not as well as it has the potential to.(cheap-a** antenna atm)
Overall though, good radio.

Comments: For all the money spent, I would have thought this would be the best radio I ever owned. I have handhelds that are better.

Price: $159.00
Pros: Clear audio, Great reception.Looks.
Cons: Stock speaker, SSB useless. Bad solder joints.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've had a 959 for many years now. It is my favorite radio for AM use. I've had many people tell me that my audio is crystal clear. The recieve is great too.

The bad. SSB drifts all over the place depending on temperature making SSB useless. The board has many bad solder joints and the bouncy Jeep makes them break so it's always at the CB shop getting something resoldered.

The stock speaker was junk. I had to replace it with another before I could use it. It's a great looking radio and worked well in my Peterbilt with air ride but many problems with it in the rough riding Jeep.

Pros: Side Band, Well Lit, Strong TX/RX
Cons: Size

Comments: Nice feature full radio. Well lit front panel. Decent TX/RX. Size is my only issue, esp in a TJ. I have it mounted overhead on a custom radio bar.

Price: $200.00
Pros: frequency counter, swr gauge, all features you need no junk
Cons: no echo box, oversized unit wont fit in normal cb sized boxes (overhead consoles, center consoles)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: CB for enthusiasts- tons of stuff ya need no extra junk. would be perfect with an echo board. 999 has echo box with robot voice but its $100 more. Hooked up with attention to detail and quality coax and 102" whip tuned to flatline SWR yields amazing talk and recieve. Variable power allows use with a set of shoes. (I have 667V) I can talk to anyone I can hear barefoot and I can hear much further than Cobra 19 I had previously.

Price: $350.00
Pros: Walks over most truckers and everything else and has over 200 channels
Cons: It's big so hard to find a spot in a Jeep to mount it
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've had 3 other Cobras before this even the Cobra 148 but nothing compares to this beast. It comes stock with more toys then you can stuff in any other cb.
