Price: $50.00
Pros: Handheld, easy to maneuver.
Cons: Rechargeable battery died, always have to keep it plugged in.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I would recommend this product, but I prefer having a mounted box. The only reason I went to this one is because the box went out on me. Rechargeable battery died, always have to keep it plugged in, so that is inconvenient.

Price: $68.00
Pros: Portable
Cons: Minor: Does not include adapter for external antenna
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Clear audible sound. I can hear the unit well with the top up and windows open. I could see how top-down operation might require an external mic like others state.
The portable design means I can take it with me until I put secure storage in the Jeep.
Lastly, it's plug and play. I was able to hook it up to my Cooltech Gatemount CB Antenna kit for instant clear reception.
