Cons: Size
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I mounted it up on cage right at head bar facing forward. Antenna was put in middle on top of rack. ( I have a congo cage). I went on a snow run and all the guys had small CB'S. I could hear them,(with nothing in the way on flat ground), for about 5 miles. They heard me for 10-15 miles. (I had to call on my cell phone) This radio is unmodified.

Pros: night watch face plate looks awesome at night
Cons: none really
Recommended? Yes

Comments: In my experiance with the cb it has been excellent. I go 4wheelin with the top off alot and in the rain alot also, and it still works just as good as the day i hooked it up. Anyone out there that is thinking about hooking up a cb in their jeep, i suggest this one.

Price: $129.99
Pros: Easy to use, *SWR Tuner built in*, Weather Ban from local air/sea stations, Lots of power
Cons: Bulky
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Overall I have had great success with this unit in the woods and on the highway. Transmits a clean signal with plenty of power. Built SWR Tuner is a must unless you know how to tune. It is bulky and therfore makes it a little tough to find a good install location, I Zip-tied(Industrial Size) mine to the speaker bar between the two front seats with 4 Ties, doesn't look bad at all if you take your time. Overall I give it a 9.5 out of 10 due to the bulkiness.

Price: $125.00
Pros: It's got everything I need, not just the three basic knobs.
Cons: Big size doesn't fit the JK well
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I don't have this radio hard mounted in the JK. I also use it in my Tundra, so I have a cigarette lighter attachment for power. My best friend is a bear hunting guide the North Maine woods, we both have Cobra 29's. It is not uncommon to for us to be 10 miles apart and still be able to communicate, squelch down, gain up, dynamike up. If we both get up high, you can extend the range. I wouldn't go into the woods with a lesser CB. I have a Wilson 5000 magnetic mount on the Tundra, I don't recall the brand antenna i use on the JK. The ability to use the SWR feature on the radio when going between the two different antenna is a very important feature for me. The weather feature is another plus.

Price: $160.00
Pros: Good Radio
Cons: Large size
Recommended? Yes

Comments: If you can find a way to mount it that doesn't look bad you can't beat the performance of a full size radio. I bought mine at Clay's Radio online and upgraded it with a level 2 peak and tune and still have a waranty.
