After over 40 years of excellence in the CB category, the 29 LTD Classic is now better than ever! Professional driver-requested improvements include a front panel microphone connector (for convenient in-dash installation), a 9-foot microphone cord (for easy reach anywhere within the cab), and tactile controls (for added convenience and safety when adjusting functions). It's the number one choice of professional drivers!

Price: $99.99
Pros: very reliable for a cheaper model, and a good platform to build on.
Cons: not a good quality mic out of the box,but nothing $50 on a road king 56 mic cant fix.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have been a truck driver/Owner for 10+ years, and have 1.2 million miles behind the wheel as well as thousands of hours behind the CB mic.The Cobra 29 Classic is one of the better products that you can get for $100 or less,it has the size and build quality of your higher end 10 meter radios and is a great platform to build on.You can spend in excess of $400+ getting a 55 watt or better radio,or buy a cobra 29 classic for $100 and invest an additional $150 in a reputable CB shop and have the same preformance for a little over half the cost.

Price: $130.00
Pros: Works great and seems to have a pretty good range.
Cons: Speaker isn't real loud.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is my first CB, I have it set up with a 4' firestick antenna. It works really well, I have notice I tend to have a farther range than my dad's cheap uniden. Never had a problem getting out of range on the trail. Only complaint would be the speaker isn't quite loud enough some times. but I think that is normal for an internal cb speaker.

Price: $109.99
Pros: 40 channels Adjustable LED lights Easy access to emergency channels Small enough to install in several places
Cons: Several controls (If not experienced)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The radio is more than the most basic CB. It offers 40 channels and you can adjust the LED brightness. I have never had a problem while using it.
The only con that I can imagine is the number of knobs available. You have to actually know how to use it in order to operate it. For those people who are looking for something more basic, there are several other models out there.

Price: $125.00
Pros: Excellent range and durability
Cons: Rather large and bulky, is taken out of jeep when not used
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Not recomended for everyday with a TJ. Rather big and bulky but otherwise an excellent CB. Use a cigar lighter plug in for power and remove when not going to use on trip or trail.
