I am still working on making this thing transmit better. It receives signals excellently though. Probably my antenna, I need a better one, better placement also. I am not recommending it because I cannot transmit well, but this is probably due to my own ignorance. I need to look at this, and make adjustments, see if I can get this thing to perform better.

This is a very small CB that fits in just about any little nook or cranny you can find in your Jeep. Mine is installed just below the glove box on the passenger side. I can reach it just fine while driving, and even with the top and doors off, I can hear the speaker a-OK.

It's been rained on and has had plenty of dust and dirt on it, but it keeps working like a champ.

The CB also has a PA option, but I haven't gotten around to installing a speaker for it yet. I'm sure it'll work just fine when I do.

If you're in the market for a cheap, functional trail CB, this is the one you need. Especially if space is an issue.

Its an ok radio but only for occasional use. Doesn't have a good reach on it but it works.

Takes up very little space. Not great for really long distances but definitly suffices for the trails.

I have had two of these. Last one was on an 87 monte carlo ss aerocoupe. The stock mic is a little bulky. I replaced my old one with a uniden mic. Sound is great. Line out to stereo works great. PA feature is awesome. Simple. Cheap. Great CB for those who only need a basic radio to talk to friends on the trail or play with a pa etc.

This CB is a very good and cheap unit. i like its simplicity and ease of use. i have connected mine to be powered by a toggle and it has work flawlessly. the only down side is that it is a littly too simple. other than that, it is a good CB to have.
