Pros: Compact, easy to mount even in a newer vehicle. Has OEM appearance. Very simple operation. Good basic radio for beginners.
Cons: No noise cancellation or weather band.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I actually got the radio from a friend who didn't need it anymore, and it hasn't let me down once. Every time I have used it, it has never given me problems. Lower frequency channels seem to have more static than the higher ones, but that probably comes from me not tuning the antenna. The radio is small, but powerful. It gives you the same 4 watt transmitter as you find in the big rigs, but in a small, OEM look package. It easily mounts in many places, including under the dashboard of my 2002 Grand Cherokee. I have also had it mounted in the ash tray opening of a Plymouth Sundance. The radio is very good quality and can take a beating. It even comes with jacks for both an external reciever speaker, and a 'bull horn' PA speaker. The PA can come in handy when wheeling to communicate with your spotter. Overall, I would say this radio is great bang for the buck, and should be considered by anyone wanting a small yet powerful CB, or for novices looking for a reliable and easy to use transceiver.

Price: $40.00
Pros: It is small and easy to mount in tight locations, check out my in-dash CB mount. Has a PA speaker output.
Cons: Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a big unit, but is that really a bad thing?
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've had this unit for years. I used it in my Mazda B4000 before I bought the Jeep and it's still working strong. It has an external speaker jack and a PA speaker jack, both of which I plan to use in the near future.

Pros: small size good price
Cons:  not very clear or powerfull unless modified. would recommend a powered mic with this unit.

Comments: this is a great little unit for a fair price. a powered mic helps you be heard. i had mine modified. althought it is a little muddy sounding, the range can extend up to 10 miles

Comments: Works fine, looks more modern than most of Cobra's product line. Downside is apparently lack of (illegal) internal upgrades.

Comments: Good little unit. I fits nicely in the small space of a heater vent. I removed a heater vent on the center console and place it there, a little cutting required. It has a PA feature which I have yet to use, but will. Simple for someone like me who doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles.

Comments: I just use the PA system on in connected to a 50 watt speaker from radio shack, a lot louder than I expected to be. Easy installation too. The mic and its holder could be better, but its fine for me
