Price: $500.00
Pros: Inexpensive, warn quality
Cons: Solenoid is not sealed
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Good price for warn quality. Had for about a year now, no issues. Plenty of power decent line speed. The only thing I wish it had is a sealed solenoid.

Price: $529.00
Pros: Powerful, Price is great, american made, quiet
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This isn't my first warn. I had an xd9000i which i liked a lot but was too heavy for what i needed. The m8000 is more than enough for my TJ and looks great. You cant beat the price for the quality you get.. Great (american made) winch, buy it and you wont be disappointed

Price: $500.00
Pros: great design, plenty of power, well built,
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I waited for the off road show to get a good sale price. For a little less than $500.00 I got a fantastic winch. The guys at 4west did the install and mounted the winch on a nice Hansen bumper. The M8000 is a workhorse and it won't break the bank for those of you on a budget.

Pros: easily rebuilt, works great, very strong
Cons: loud
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great winch, only thing I can find to complain about is the noise. It is very loud. This winch was given to me because the guy said it didnt work. Cleaned the solenoids and have been using it every since.

Price: $500.00
Pros: inexpensive and durable
Cons: slow
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got this winch 6 years ago and it is still holding strong. The only problem i have with it is the speed but i guess i souldnt complaing its faster than alot of winches out there. If you are looking for a durable inexpensive winch the M8000 is for you.

Price: $550.00
Pros: Easy install and enough pulling power for a YJ.
Cons: I wish it would have come with the vinyl cover, as I had to buy mine for $40, but it has been well worth it and has kept my winch looking and operating as good as the day I bought it.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: A great winch for the $$$ and it's a Warn so you know you're buying a quality product (not to say there are not some other outstanding winch manufacturers). It is an easy install. Make sure a good quality winch plate is used and grade 8 hardware is used to fasten the winch to the frame (because a winch is only as strong as it's mounting point).

Price: $539.00
Pros: Fast pull, pretty cheap
Cons: Heavy
Recommended? Yes

Comments: So far this winch has performed quite well. I'm very happy with the purchase. I suggest swapping out the cable with synthetic winch line. It is quite heavy as it is.

Price: $700.00
Pros: Works great
Cons: Can't think of any
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've only used it once, but it was to pull the neighbor's truck out of a ditch. He slid off a muddy road and got stuck pretty bad. Used the winch with a single line pull. Pulled him out of that muck with no problem. After I pulled him out, we noticed that the truck's axle actually drug the ground most of the way out. I was pretty impressed.

Comments: This workhorse has pulled its heart out for me. The most unusual events were pulling a 3/4 2x4 pulling a 16' camping trailer out of the sand at South Padre Island. More than enough winch for the Wrangler, and reasonably priced.

Comments: I love this winch...I go wheeling with a friend who has a Blazer and this winch has recovered him many of times. The only time I have maxed it out was when he was about to roll over a 4 foot drop and with such a hard pull my battery cable termination melted so I don't know if the winch couldn't do the pull or if it just wasn't getting enough power.
