Price: $300.00
Pros: Durable, reliable, American made. Replacement parts available for rebuild.
Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got this Warn winch used off Craigslist. It was in working order but it would not spool out with the remote. After looking it over I found out the PO didn't wire the solenoids up correctly. They are the original solenoids from Warn and once I rewired it correctly it worked like a champ. When I plan on rebuilding this winch I'm going to order replacement parts and repaint it.

Comments: If you want a good winch buy a good winch. However, If you want to compromise and "hope" for a good one, don't buy a warn.

Price: $300.00
Pros: Reliable, Unbeatable Overall Value, Not too heavy, not too bulky... All you need
Cons: Mounting of solenoid box, Quick enough line speed, could be better
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have done multiple pulls with this winch in a variety of situations, it has been underwater and mud covered; nothing but reliable service. Line speed is acceptable. I have bogged it down a few times, could have just been my stock 7 year old battery letting it down. Really, it is all you need in a winch.

Pros: It's a Warn. Can't be beat with made in the USA and lifetime warrenty.
Cons: Wished the option for syn rope was available.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great bang for the buck if looking for a solid, no frills winch. Made in the USA by a company that knows what their doing and will stand behind their product.

Price: $600.00
Pros: Great price for an entry level warn winch.
Cons: the cable that came with it was not the best.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I would save up alittle more and by a warn rather than buy some of the other winches that are on the market. 8,000 lbs. and a snach block will get you out of all most any thing. plenty of power.
