9.5ti THERMOMETRIC SELF-RECOVERY WINCH
The 9.5ti packs 9500 lbs of pulling capacity into a massive 12.5 lb aluminum die-cast body. This winch not only looks great, but sheds the elements like no other winch on the market: seals at the key points give extreme-duty water resistance. A Gen II Series Wound motor delivers just the right balance between torque and speed. Plus another Warn Industries first - operator feedback - the thermometric indicator gives the operator information about motor temperature during the winching operation.

Cons: None

Comments: I second everything that has already been said; this a a great winch, I doubt it will fail me any time soon, it looks great, was easy to install and is easy to use. I don't think there's any more one could ask!
I also got a great price on it by surfing the JF for sale threads. This site rocks!

Pros: Solid Construction, WARN, sleek design
Cons: no wireless remote
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I convinced a friend to purchase this a year before I did. He loves it. It has come in handy already. The thermal warning feature is great for those of us who lose track of time and don't want to burn out a winch.

I bought mine recently and it fits the jeep like a glove. The size of it complements a jeeps front end rather than taking away from the looks as some winches do, (see Powerplant by Warn).

Warn has a been around a long time. They have a good warrenty and I would recommend them to anyone.

Pros: Excellent design, Warn reputation
Cons: None

Comments: I want to second what Ichabod1960 has said in his review. I have used mine for both self recovery and rescue of a downed vehicle. Warn makes quality products and this is no exception. A tried and true winch for your vehicle.

Price: $940.00
Pros: Minimally exposed wiring, thermo indicator in remote, remote contains a flashlite
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I picked this winch because I liked the sealed design and the thermo indicator feature.

Installation was simple. Bolt it on to the winch plate with a torque of 30 to 35 ft-lbs. Bolt the winch plate to the front bumper mounts. Attach the roller fairlead to the mounting plate and then attach the leads to battery posts. Unwind the rope and rewind it with a load of at least 500 lbs and you are done.

As for using it, I'll update after I get that opportunity.
