Comments: SUCKS BALLS! Broken frame on it in 3 places, 2 different occasions. Also the clutch has to be replaced because the ball that is used to hold it in position failed as well. Control has broken multiple times, wires falling out - on each end. But it is strong, ill give it that. For the price though its really not that great of a deal.
Comments: ***A note on the price, I purchased this winch w/ a synthetic line and hook as part of the deal.***
I have only used this winch on one trip, but i used it at least a half dozen times in that one day. Several times i had all 80' of synthetic rope out and pulled continuously up muddy hill. I could hear it load up, but it never once sounded over-worked. It is a little slower than the more expensive winches, but I'm not looking to set any speed records, as long as it can get me out of a jam w/ a single line pull I'm happy. And it has proved it's worth to me.
