Haven't even mounted it yet, I'll let you know once I get out on the trials. Only $400 after shipping though, so I may just get what I paid for.

edit (22 FEB 10):
Ok, used this thing several times now and it works! I put 100' of ORO X-Line onto the spool and it just pulls and pulls. We got two vehicles stuck in the middle of nowhere on our way to a duck hunt and probably made three dozen pulls in 5 hours. We made pulls with 90' of line out and a tow strap, we dipped our lines in the mud and water, we pulled in excess of 45 seconds at a time, we pulled with engine off and engine on... we pulled while spinning wheels and rocking vehicles.

This winch is an amazing value. It is a solid piece of reliable equipment and certainly worth the money. See my post on "getting stuck without a winch point" for the whole story.

Mounted it in March 2009. Haven't used it yet, but so far everything is functional and seems to work well.

Awsome winch for the price. Keeps on pulling. Pulled a Ram Charger from a nasty pickle no problem. Warranty not much, but you get what you pay for.

I have yet to really punish this winch, but for the price you can't go wrong. I have had good luck with SW products before. When you do push it too far and break it, parts are available and they're easy to fix. Looks good too on my Gorilla clone eBay mount plate.

i have used this winch to get me out of some pretty bad spots. my jeep is pretty hire and i was pushin mud with my front bumper and it still got me out and up a hill. its a great winch at a great price. i do recommend runnin a dual battery though... it will drain one pretty fast.

Worked at -40C and pulled a 1Ton Ford throw the snow up a hill. Was surprised it did. But I did have to tie the jeep to trees for the pull though.

I really hope i dont regret saying i would recommend this or that it was good.. it broke the first time i tried to use it... Pulled about 5ft then just shut down... gonna see how well superwinch handles the situation! ill do a post of some sort after i talk to them today 12-2-09

After a few months of waiting for unfilled promises Ive given up on superwinch and switching to warn. they dont protect against water... which hello stupid its gonna get wet its on the front of a JEEP we actually get a little wet. Wouldnt recommend this winch for anything! 3-18-2010

Got mine from Rokmen, shipped really quick. The instructions sucked but it's not hard to figure out how to work it, and it came pre-wired. It isn't very fast but works well so far.

Just picked up the winch and have yet to install it. I'm looking for a mounting kit for it does anyone know if its universal to a lot out there, which is a good quality one, but affordable. ????

The cable retaining screw came out after the second pull. I should have checked it beforehand, but so should have Superwinch.

Works for my needs. All recoveries went smoothly. Remote is sturdy enough and mates well enough. Glad I bought it.

Got it from a friend new in box. On 5th or so use and about 9 months. Motor was water clogged. I called Superwinch, a new motor cost $297. Not worth my time.
