Comments: Great wench. I did quite a bit of research. Amazon had the best price, plus free shipping. The warranty is very similar to warn wench, if you read through all the fine print. The free spool is very smooth and easy to pull. The quality of every piece on the wench is top notch, from the large easily bendable and fished through the engine bay power cables, to the engage/disengage handle. You can't go wrong with this one.

Comments: After reading a shootout article where this winch placed second I figured Id take a chance on it and save nearly 50% over my first choice. (Warn) So far so good. It is a nice looking unit and appears to be well constructed. Only time will tell with regards to its performance but from what I found in my research the EPi 9 will likely be the last winch I buy for this jeep.

Comments: I wanted to run synthetic line and I'd been planning to get the Warn 9.5ti. But then you have add the cost of switching to synthetic line and fairlead and I could not justify the price difference since everything I read about the SuperWinch was all good. It included everything needed to mount and operate. On Jan 1st we went wheeling and really gave it a workout with a total of 12 pulls. This included 5 back to back pulls through thick almost frozen mud as I got stuck when I broke through 3" thick ice into a 2ft deep 30ft long mud hole. everyone else in the group gave it a try and I had to pull them all out.

Very happy with this winch.
I also added the inside / wireless controller kit, I like the added control choices a lot.
