Comments: This winch is a WORKHORSE.
Yes, a 12,000# winch is WAY too much for just a Jeep. My winch is bolted to a moveable cradle mount that sees duty on the Jeep, my Dodge Ram 2500, and loading/unloading equipment on my trailer.
MileMarker should pay me to be an independent testing facility!

Pros: good on battery, pretty fast.
Cons: first time i used it it would not power reverse, sounds like bad solinoid. sent message to milemarker, lets see what they do about it.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This winch works just fine for the money. I paid 499 for it at the Indy Jambo last year and only had to use it a couple of times...mostly to pull other people out. No problems pulling from deep mud.
