Comments: High lift jack from tool outlet here in Pigeon Forge. Seems ok. Mounted it inside between the roll bars.

Pros: Gets me out of the holes and works great for stretching fence. I put the jackmate attachment on it and it really makes this tool better.
Cons: Drops quick if you don't have enough weight on it. Hard to find a good place to mount.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This jack is built tough. With the right attachments, it is the perfect tool for recovery and rescue work. I added the Jackmate to it for extra functionality. It is heavy and large so find a good place to mount it before you pick the size you want. I am using fence bands and mounting it to my roll cage.

Pros: Tough and reliable. Multi-use functions. Durable (takes a licking). Reasonably priced.
Cons: Heavy as all get out. (But worth it.)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Good all around tool for the trail. Tough, reliable, proven durable. Have one mounted on my XJ. Easy to maintain. Heavy duty, but heavy as can be. Be strategic of where you mount it on your rig. It can both help and hurt you.
Most of all...learn how to use it correctly!!!
Would recommend to anyone that cannot afford a winch. It can be used as one if properly rigged! Read up on it and watch some you-tube videos!

Pros: Brick simple design, USA built.
Cons: Not to be used for off trial. Heavy.

Comments: May not always need a Hi-Lift, but when you do, you'll wish you had one. Pay attention to when using it, it can't kick you in the pants.

Pros: It's a hi-lift jack.
Cons: It rusts
Recommended? Yes

Comments: What can you say about a Hi-Lift Jack? I use mine more in the driveway than I do on the trails, but when you need a jack on the trails I'd only use a Hi-Lift.

If you keep it on your rig all the time like I do, you have to sand-off the rust and repaint it about once a year.

Pros: Made in the USA
Cons: Causes headaches if handle is not locked

Comments: Every jeep needs this. Classic trail tool with a million uses. Avoid buying cheep Chinese knockoffs. There are many. Some of which are under familiar names. Stick with a classic High-lift made in Indiana.

Pros: great lifting power, very user friendly
Cons: Keep an eye on the nuts that hold it together, and make sure to lube it
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I started out using my hi-lift and a come-along before i invested in my winch, and still use it in conjunction with my winch whenever i have to pull in 2 directions. If you don't keep an eye on the nuts that hold it together they will loosen up and "disappear" on you, making it next to impossible to know whats going to happen when jacking. Also make sure to keep a can of white lithium grease or silicone spray in the jeep to lube the lifting mechinisim one end or the other on the ground. And don't try to jack the entire front end or rear end, it gets a little tippy if you only have If those are the only three downsides, why not get it.

Pros: Lifts, winches, clamps, breaks beads, well built
Cons: Heavy

Comments: This jack is great, not really to be used as a jack much. Lifts, winches, clamps, breaks beads, very well built! Great all purpose jack to be used as a multi tool.

Comments: So the thing about the Hi-Lift jack is, it's not just for liftin' yer Jeep! I have used it for just about eveything. I cannot think of a single reason to not own a Hi-Lift jack, case closed.
