Price: $60.00
Pros: Looks like it'll work if you need it
Cons: You hope you'll never need it.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought the 48 inch cast/steel model which looks like it will be more than adequate for my needs. I didn't like the all cast model because it was red and the extreme version is too pricey. This one is just right!

Pros: Nice fit and finish
Cons: Really heavy
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I went with the X-treme version of the jack for the clamping feature. Haven't had a chance to use it other than to raise my jeep onto the jack stands(this didn't seem safe, get the wheel hook attachment

Price: $49.00
Pros: a real do-all tool
Cons: heavy, awkward, possibly dangerous
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought my hi-lift before knowing what exactly I planned to do with it. Since then I have found all kinds of thing to use it for including as a threatening weapon. Yet even after using it a bunch of times, it still scares me sometimes when it does something unexpected, like bumping out of the climbing position before I am ready to start lowering.

Comments: What can I say about the Hi-Lift that hasn't been said a bajillion times already? Ungainly, heavy, dangerous, but it will winch you out of there if you have the time and nothing else is available.

Comments: Knowing that the jack should be handled with respect at all times when using then I think you would be hard pressed to find a more versatile piece of equipment for your Jeep. I mounted it inside my jeep to keep it away from the elements and as a result jack will have a better chance of working the way is is supposed to. The accessories that you can get with it are what make it, in my opinion, a great tool to have.
