I honestly don't know if there's any real benifit to this hi lift over the standard ones. To be completely honest, I went with it because I liked the look of it. I can't imagine it'll perform any better or different than my other ones.

Pros: Versatile, lives up to the "Handyman" name.
Cons: This will outlast me.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: To anyone who has had a winch fail at just the wrong moment, or if you managed to park your jeep on a stump in just the right position... this is made for you. I use the Extreme in more than just my Jeep, its a great tool for the workshop as well. Clamp, spread... lift! This thing is a must, but like any tool (especially one that weighs this much) learn to use it properly. Like any "tool", it can make your life simplier when out on the trail.

Price: $60.00

Comments: I haven't had to use it yet. It's heavy and awkward but strong. I got with the Jack Mate and the base which are both cool tools.
