wj window problems

I have a 2002 wj larado (sure that doesnt make a differance) with a passenger window problem. It doesnt seem to be the motor but idk the window will roll up and down the same speed as all the rest without any lag what so ever. but it will only work some of the time (ex. I roll it down [if it wants to work at the time] and it will get stuck in whatever possition i roll it. then it wont roll back up untill it is ready. somtimes it will be the next day or later in the same day) i believe it may be a relay or somthing but not sure. if it is the relay what exactly do i need to do to it i dont even know what it looks like or where its located. please PLEASE send me some insite It's realy becoming a nighmare. I would be GREATFULLY appriciative. Thanks everyone and happy holidays.

It's the window regulator more than likely. Unfortunately it's a pretty common problem in WJs.

Here is a write up:

Another thing you may try before you go out and start spending money just yet. The window switches in the door have an electrical connector under them where it mounts to the wiring harness and window regulator. I have seen one come lose and make intermittent contacts. Try taking out the switch and re inserting the plug into the electrical socket. If this doesn't work, then I am sorry to say that Bama is correct and you will need to change the window regulator. Wait, I almost forgot. When you are checking the electrical connections of the switches to the wiring harness at the switch itself. Don't for get to check the ones on the drivers door too. I know it sounds funny, but some most vehicles are all tied into the drivers door switch as it is a master control for all the windows. It is fairly easy to access the rear of the switches and just double check the connections, It most certainly is cheaper that immediate regulator replacement and it will have to be done anyways if you are replacing the regulator in the door. I wish you luck and let us know how it goes.
