Windshield Light Mounts

I am going to mount some lights on my windshield. I have the bracket from and the lights. The only question I have is pretty simple. How do I hide the wires? Do I have to drill a hole and then fill it with a gromet? Will it fit in the small gap near the window hinge? Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't look for problems....They find me.
