Registered User Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fawn Grove, PA. Posts: 173 | If you can have him set the dead key at 5w or less. That way you can better wing of the radio. Its an omnidirectional antenna. So on top there isnt really anything in its way. I would put the antenna closes to the back that I could. I ran a wilson 1000 mag mount for years on several different autos and never had a problem. With 25ish watts you will be ok.
