do the cb's that are mounted to the side of the console on the drivers side ever get in the way of your right leg? or if it's mounted on the passenger side under the dash, will the seat still tumble forward? sorry for all the questions lol

Well I got a Lil Uniden and used the mounting kit from Jeep Outfitter

I use a cobra 75 WX ST Compact/Remote Mount CB Radio with SoundTracker® and NOAA Weather. I mounted the "unit" in the glove box and put the mic on the center consol by the 4wd shifter...I dont seem to kick it and most people ask when they get in where it is. I can still fit some manuals in the the glove box but it does take up a good chunk of the space there.

Anyone use that Jeep Outfitter bracket with any of the cages that mount to the dash bolts in that same area? Is there enough room to clamp it in there between the two? I was thinking of picking one up to mount an Icom 2100H in that spot but figure there isn't much point if I end up having to fab something anyway when I put a cage in.

I Am Wiring Up My Cb In The Morning...we're Taking Out The Glove And Cutting A Slot In The Back Of It So My Cb Will Fit.

Not at all, can't even lean my right leg all the way over and touch the radio.

WILL A LITTLE BIGGER RADIO FIT the mounting bracket from Jeep Outfitter?

The radio I would like to use measures 6 1/4 x 8 1/4 can I make a bracket to get this to fit?

The radio they put on it is 5 x 7 in

that was the first thing i thought when i saw this, I would like to run an or fab sport cage as well. another thing is does it obstruct road view.

I'm 6'5" and I sit up high in the seat, I don't think blocking road view will be an issue for me.
