![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's my mount sans-radio. Mine's a Cobra 29ltd. Antenna is mounted on teraflex mount above/behind driverside tail light. Antenna has since been replaced with a K-40 10 meter tunable 2.5 kilowatt fiberglass whip. Reception is now outstanding!

Sorry no pics . But my cb is mounted to the change tray on top of the dash. Its a Cobra 18 WX ST2 with a front facing speaker. The firestix antenna is on a teraflex bracket that mounts behind the left rear tail light. Works great for me.

Mounted just to the left of the 4wd shift lever:
![]() Not a CB, but idea's the same. Keeps it out of the rain, is easy to see and never in the way. I don't have doors all summer, the lock will hopefully make sure any potential thieves need to spend more than 30 seconds trying to remove the radio. (I put a steel plate on the other side of the plastic) |

I mounted mine overhead, last minute deal before club trip. Bent a piece of metal to conform to windshield frame, place rubber between and used the threaded hole from the winshield tie down. http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg105/tjlingo/cbmount.jpg

Tuffy makes a compartmented overhead console that mounts between the footman loop and the roll cage bar. I mounted my Cobra Model 29 therein. It is lockable.

thanx for all the ideas on this guys. there's a lot of good stuff here! i think i'm going to buy a smaller radio and maybe put it in the console (this big midland 77 250 unit won't fit in there...) and maybe get that overhead console eventually. room is limited in these tj's haha
