where do you mount your TJ's cb radio

I just got my TJ last week and was getting ready to install my cb but couldn't really find a good place to mount it. There was plenty of space in my YJ but the TJ doesn't have the same setup. i know they make an overhead mount but i thought i'd see what you seasoned experts do

thanx bebout. i considered putting mine on the dash but my cb is bigger than that so i don't know

Baystate: i think i asked for the experts suggestions and not someone who's asking how to stay warm and couldn't figure out you needed a tstat and a coat

Most of the larger radios I've seen are mounted up above the dash between the visors.

Unless you are particularly attached to that unit, you may consider getting a smaller one. My father gave me his old Cobra 29LTD and a 600w Linear that I just couldn't find a place for in the TJ. I went with a Cobra 75WXST or whatever that thing is instead.

I wouldn't have mounted my antenna to that. Just my opinion. I would have mounted it to the actual carrier.
