What gauge wire is this?

I just bought these lights
http://www.kchilites.com/lights/apol....1368307167048
as replacements for my factory fogs. Unfortunately with my bumper the only light mounting brackets are 3 inches too far away.
What gauge is the wire is on these lights? I want to extend the wire a bit instead of buying the $40 extension wire.

If your only extending the wire 6" or so 14g will work fine...if your worried about it use 12g. The wiring that comes with most lights is WAY undersized usually and is only 18 or 16g at best.

I extended the wire 6" this morning. Mounted the lights. Plugged them in and they worked. Only thing is, My switch is either loose or broken. The fog light symbol on the dash stays on at all times and I have to push the handle down to get it to turn off. So I have them unplugged so I don't kill my battery. But they look good Going to take the dash apart later tomorrow to see whats up with the switch
