waterproofing

Has anyone come up with a good way to waterproof a stereo in a CJ? I'm not looking to put in a competition system or anything but I've been through about 6 stereos (3 caught fire) from getting wet since I only have a bikini top.

I'd just get a good marine-quality unit. Their curcuit boards are usualy coated in an epoxy or silicon and won't be affected by a splash. (though they might not take direct hose pressure..) There are some that will handle that force though but security then might become an issue. Or you can get a marine radio cover. There are some options but my first item would be a marine class radio.
