Wanting to upgrade Stereo system...

So my speakers suck. I want to change my speakers, and possibly add an amp to do a sub later. I don't need anything to nuts, but I do listen to Heavy Metal music, and loud at times. I want something that I can control the EQ on.

I've never done a speaker upgrade in a car, so I don't know how you calculate the amp wattage to the speaker wattage.

I've read up on how to change speakers, and where to get the brackets but I can't find the wattage info, or how they all hook up. If anyone could explain, that'd be cool!

Thanks

Those look good. Only suggestion would be to upgrade with new adapter brackets to the 5 1/4's up front. The amp is nice and small and it would work but you might get more ooomph if you upgraded to a 4 channel with a little higher RMS to match all 4 interior speaker RMS's.

Speakers come with the brackets, and I read about doing the 5.25" and the $20 bracket, which I might do.

Whats the calculation so I can figure out the RMS? Those speakers are 2X25W = 50 and 2x35 = 70 so thats 120W, would that mean I'd need 120W or more?
