Thoughts on white turn signals?

I broke one of my turn signals while wheeling a while back and I finally am getting around to replacing it. I make high powered flashlights as a hobby - and a little of my OCD for that has carried over to the lighting for my jeep.

On quadratech they have a package that includes two of the side turn signals (the one that I broke) with clear lenses. My first thought was that these would look nice with white bulbs. I looked up the law in my area and it says that it is OK for turn signals to be white or amber.

It is perfectly legal for me to have white turn signals, but I wanted to check with the jeep community to see what people think about this and to make sure that it is not RICE or poser or anything like that.

Thank you.

meh, id keep them amber, or amber with clear lenses, everyone on the road is used to amber turn signals, and white makes it look like the lens is busted.

I went ahead on got the clear lenses from Quadratech along with some orange LED blinkers from eBay. I looked around the internet and it seems that it may cause confusion and even be unsafe to use white blinkers because people are used to amber - especially older folk.
