stock subwoofer

I have an 06 SE that did not come with the center console. Well this weekend I bought one and it came with the factory subwoofer. Where is the harness that I would connect to the factory woofer harness? Under the front console? Behind the dash?

Also, will it matter that I have an aftermarket head unit?

I'm not sure, but wouldn't you need the 7 speaker stereo system to have the harness.

i posted in the other thread you started about the same thing. i doubt the factory wiring is there. also you would need the factory amp.

the factory amp is connected to the stock sub enclosure. it's actually a part of it. it is wired the same as a low level line inverter deal.....basically spliced into the rear speakers. your 4 speaker setup won't have the harness or the wires pre-run, but it won't be difficult to run your own. along with the speaker wire to splice inline with the rear speakers, you will need to run a power wire, a ground, and a remote turn on. the sub/enclosure should have one end of the harness attached. you'll need to clip off the grey plug part and splice into those wires, or you could go to a dealership and pick up the other end of the harness and just plug the two together.
