Speedo Wiring???

I just installed a teraflex sye in my '88YJ. Problem is the kit comes with a 3-wire speed sensor and my jegs (555-41620) digital gauge cluster on has 2 speedo sensor wires. Anybody ever have a similar problem?

Did your SYE come with a electronic or mechanical speed sensor? I know that on the NP231 until the year 2000 needed to cut and splice the electronic speed sensor. Obviously the YJ NP231 came with a mechanical speedo gear, so if the SYE is for a YJ then it might not work.

I hope this gives you some insight.

The kit came with a 3-wire electronic sensor. My electronic speedo only has 2 wires though. Wondering if someone knows which ones to use?
