speaker plate adapter

I removed my 4 by 6 speakers traced them onto poster board drew the mounting of my 5 1/4 into the center of the trace made a wider border surrounding the speaker and finally traced the design onto a sheet of 3/16 aluminum type sheet cut it out and also cut out the speaker mount hole and drilled the holes to mount the speaker and also to mount to factory bolt holes really very simple took about a hour from start to finish if you have trim it not a problem once you get one the way you want it just copy it and turn it around for the other side, cost me about 6.00 for the sheet of aluminum had plenty left over and I agree thats pretty high pricetag for something I can do myself. Just get the basic idea of what it looks like by stealing the look of thier design so to speak.
