Speaker box

I'm putting two 6x9 speakers above the rear wheels next to the back passengers. I'm buying a regular insulated box for them, but I'm not sure what to cover it with so that the wood can withstand the heat and so that the box can take all the dirt.

you can go to Lowe's and they have a quart size can of bedliner for $25 I believe. If not, there is always the option of spraycan bedliner. I don't know how it compares to roll on though. I believe that is $7 a can for the spray.

That's a really good deal. I'll go with the stronger stuff first, knowing that'll be better quality.

the stuff from Lowe's work great! I've used them on my fenders and so far, it holds up to mud and debris for about a year now! Just make sure you put several coats! Note though, the glossy finish will fade in a few months to a dull black.

Tool dip would work too.

They make plastic speaker boxes.

The can of Berliner is junk compared to the roll on stuff.
