I see a bunch of different manufactures of soundbars, which is the best? I'm running a Alpine 7876 head unit, MTX Thunder6304 four channel amp going into my JL Audio 6x9 in Soundwedges and my JL Audio 4x6 dash mounts. I'm looking to improve my sound even more. At this time I wasn't thinking about subs, I thought the soundbar would be the way to go. Any suggestions?┐?

JCWhitney made a 6 speaker sound bar at one time. I know because I have one and I love it. The bad thing is they don't show it on their web site any longer I have seen them on eBay a few times. If you can find one it's well worth the $$$. They have a two 6" & 3" and dome directonal tweeters. I run it with seperate 4x6s in the dash. Don't need anything else. Again if you can find one jump on it.

Steel Horse makes a unloaded version that is ideal because they all use cheap speakers. I have worked on just about all the diferent ones out there and the factory one is by far the best. The material is much beter and fitment is also much better.
If the price is an issue go find one at a salvage yard they can be found cheap. Anouther cool trick for the sound bars is using a 6" or 6 X 9" inch subs. The air space in the sound bar is ideal and it takes no room. The 6 X 9's take a little more work to mount in but the end result usually rocks. To find the best 6 X 9" subs look at the Kickers.
