Sound system for 2002 wrangler w/ premium sound
I'm looking for more quality base as well as volume. Any ideas? not looking to kill my bank account and still want to utilize my "truck" but i never have the back seats in...

You should do like what Bob J said about the bracket upgrades. These sound pretty good, however I don't have them due to upgrading before I learned about them.
You can also try the soundwedge boxes and put good speakers in them. These I have and they are a good upgrade over stock performance. If you really want bass that doesn't take up alot of bass try the Infinity Basslink powered sub. It's demensions are 14 1/2'"Wx13 3/8"Hx9 7/8"D, or you could try a Kenwood wOOx powered sub. yea what i'm going to do is put one box with 2 10" jl w3 subs put the amp under the seat and then swap out the speakers on the sound bar and put a new head unit in. As of right now just the subs and amp are going in but hopefully by the end of the summer ill have the speakers and head unit in. I'll let you know how it goes and how much space this is going to cost me...
