right rear blinker does not work

I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I replace the flasher unit today and all lights started working again excluding the right rear. When I turn on the right side blinkers the light on the dash and the front right blinker stay on and the rear does nothing. Kind of lost on this one, any help, knowledge, and or Wisdom would be great.

Replace the bulb. Check the bulb socket for corrosion. Check the wires for damage.
