Regarding SirGCal's back seat box

I was wondering, when you installed that box back into the backseat, what was the compfort level of that backseat? Can you tell that there is a box under there?

LOL, just kidding.. I've tested it with my wife driving for about 15 minutes and with the new extended width top box I made (pics not online yet, but it's nearly the same as the listed box but the top is 36" wide with overhangs past the existing box's top.) it's not bad.

I wouldn't take it across the country with my butt on it but then again, I wouldn't take it across country with my butt in it before... LOL

It is a little firmer, yes, but not so much so that it is uncomfortable. People who've never sat in a jeep rear seat before don't even notice. Avid jeepers sometimes don't notice either. If they are thinking about it, then they do, but just say that it's nice and firm, not uncomfortable. I have yet to get a "Dam# that's hard..." complaint from the back seat, even on 30 minute+ commutes.

You can't remove foam and expect the same softness.. But.. it's not bad. I'll get the pics of the new box online this weekend probably... (maybe this morning even...) and I am planning on adding extensions for the current box before it's sale.
