REC Sirius and Mopar ipod interface
Hi, I have an REC SatNav head unit with the Sirius satellite and have just added the Mopar ipod interface kit, which allows me to access my ipod via the SAT mode on the REC unit. As I am located in the UAE, the Sirius receiver is of no use to me. If I disconnect the Sirius cabling will the SAT mode remain available on the REC unit for the ipod kit to function?

YES - it willallow you ti only use your iPod. Also, you can call Navteq and get a nav disc for your area UAE.
