RCA cable insulation
does anyone know of anything besides vulcanizing tape that will work to insulate my rca cables. i bought a new kenwood and they plug in right next to the antenna jack so when the amp is on the power going through the rca cables distorts the signal, i have stinger cables so i don't think it's cheap cables. i'm thinking there's some kind of sleave you can buy i just haven't seen any...anyone else run into this problem?

If you mean shielding, then I think that any amateur radio store should be able to supply you with some. I'm not sure, but you may want to ground the shielding too. One of the other guys can shime in more on that.
Good Luck, Peter
