Radio flashes ON/OFF when key position is different to ACC position

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000, the radio only works correctly when the key is in the ACC position, but in any other position "On or Start" of the key the radio starts but turn on and off intermittently .
Someone has an idea what the problem might be ?..

Thanks

Most likely just a worn out ignition switch.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

Or a loose ground. If the vehicle is running when in the run position the vibration could be causing the loss of ground if it is loose.
