Quadratec super tweeters

Anyone ever installed these in their jeep?
http://www.quadratec.com/products/14133_100.htm
Thinking about buying these but I'm wondering a couple things.
1- How much of a difference in sound do they make. enough to be worth the price?
2- I have cage installed that goes down the side of the dash. Anyone know if these would these fit with the cage installed as well? Looks like it can be down but I don't know how hard it would be.

Jeeps are like strippers...they should be topless as often as possible.

Audio experts say the top of the dash is one of the worst spots for tweeters in a TJ. The Nalin Mfg brackets put them in a better place. Not to mention you have no idea what brand they are.

Isn't the location of tweeters in the JKs pretty much the same as where they would be in a TJ? If it is as bad as you say though I could buy those mounts you mentioned and put them down there. Better placement and avoids any roll cage issues.

I wonder who the "Audio Experts" are?

I'm no audio expert, but I love music and great sound. I had these in my 2006 Rubicon Unlimited and they're amazing. They really open up the mid and high end. The crossover puts them in perfect harmony with the factory front speakers. I'd recommend them.

Those would be people like SirGCal and other guys on here who do audio engineering for a living. And yes, it is where the JK tweeters mount. That doesn't mean Chrysler put them in the ideal place.

These are really a great product. They were designed by our local audio expert, Bob. He has a TJ, JK, WK and some other vehicles. He also owns a little mom & pop type Mobile Audio / CB radio shop (Chadds Ford Electronics) right down the highway from us. If you want to pick his brain regarding the fitment, or anything else, his # is: 610-358-1886 and his e-mail is: CFElectron@aol.com

You will definitely notice a difference in the quality of sound with these Tweeters. I'll be honest, I have not heard 1 complaint from a customer yet on these. I really think they are a great product!

if i were you i would get some nalin brakets and put a nice set of polk tweeters in them. you could do that setup for $85 and have a nicer setup then the cheap powerbass tweeters included in the quadratec set that costs $109

what front speakers do you have? if stock you might just want to upgrade the whole front stage

This has been a very popular choice among customers who want the complete package:

would it have to be a complete set like that? I have some Rockford fosgate speakers in the dash and sound bar at the moment.
