Parking light issue (2000 TJ)

Ok , I hope that someone can save the day. I have a 2000 TJ, 6cyl, no LED lights only regular light bulbs, head lights work, when I turn my jeep on the marker/parking lights turn on, I have the toggle switch type for the headlights, the switch is pushed all the in and the marker/parking lights are still on. The only time that the lights turn off is when I turn off my Jeep. I know that the Canadian TJs have DRL but my Jeep is not Canadian and it doesn't have DRL module, I've look really hard by the fire wall. Any ideas or tips?

The multifunction switch is known to go bad.

Did you check the ground connections for the lights. I believe the headlights, markers and blinkers ground point is the same. Also check the relay for the lights.

JPNinPA, thanks for the advise, I went over the jeep to check the relays and grounds for the headlights/turn signal and still nothing
