Looking to get this. It says modification is needed and an adaptor. Do i really need it? 09 Rubicon. What all do i need or will it wire right up? Thank you for the help, im not very good with audio.

Well first make sure you've got room for a double din radio - meaning it will take up twice the space as a normal radio, which might be where the modification comes in - you might have to cut up the dash some

The adapter is for if you have radio controls on your steering wheel.

Otherwise you should just need a plug adapter so the radio can plug into your Jeep's factory plug. It appears the radio you picked comes with that though, so you just need to tell them what Jeep you've got. Other wise all of the wires should be standard meaning you can just match up the colors.

You could also call Crutchfield at the 800 number they have listed, they are actually quite knowledgeable!
