Need an overhead console!

This last trip to Last Chance proved to me I naad a CB, but where do I get the cool overhead console that so many of you have your CB in? Not too many other places to mount it!

What about Antenna's? Any type better than the other??

I mounted mine (I don't know if you saw it at last chance) on the dash board in that little divit above the radio- mounted the bracket upside down in the hole and the cb sits on top of the dash-

The overhead consoles worry me a little- on a roll over it's a good place to split your head open.

also, you can't put down the windshield.

I looked at teh site, looks good and the switch panel is cool too.

Thanks for that.

How's things going with the install, have you even got the panel yet ?

Let the Forum know what you did.

Thanks,

Did you get any accesories with it? Did you have it custom made or did you get the generic one?

I'm looking into getting one custom made for my sport cage and was also curious about the indicator lights they sell..

I finally got my CB rack yesterday and installed it last night. Whether it is generic or not, I have no idea. I know it's made for a TJ. I assume other years and/or models may be different. I did not order the switch panel yet but will probably get one later when I start installing lights on the Jeep.

Overall, it was one of the easiest things to install on a Jeep. It's nice to have the CB overhead and within eye sight. I recommend installing one if you have a CB.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

I have a CBrack in my YJ and love it. Here's how mine looks, although I've added some things since this pic was taken. The two bolts on the sides of the switch panel are also lights pointing down.
