Need Help! Emergency Siren in Jeep Liberty 2005

I have a Jeep Liberty Sport 2005 and am looking to install a Siren. Two issues:
1. Where would you recommend placing the siren. Their is not much free space in the engine compartment.
2. Would you hook it up directly to the battery? This siren model has no ground wire just the hot (+) and cold (-).

Thanks in advance. Also FYI I am installing this siren because I am a volunteer medic with a Vermont based rescue squad and if we want to be anywhere aside from quarters we are required to.

the "cold" wire is the ground wire.

You can't just hook it up straight to the battery without going through some kind of switch. Also, what is going to be your control? Most sirens include a control box (what actually has the siren noise), and the speaker (which projects the siren noise). So you would hook the speaker up to the control box and then have the control box hooked into some type of power source.

Could you give us a little more specifics of what kind of siren you have right now? Sounds like you might want to get a professional to install this.

This would be considered the actual siren (control box):

This would be the speaker that you hook to the siren:
