Mounting a CB

Please show your pics or explain how you've mounted your CB.

Search doesn't like "CB". Anyone have an overhead console? I've got my CB/PA system from my old car and I'm thinking of putting it in my Jeep.

Just where the CB radio is mounted in the Jeep. I'd like to have a clean looking installation, and I want to see some options.

Here's how I have mine mounted. I think it turned out pretty well. I also included pics of the antenna mount.

The red wire is not hidden.

I will try and get pics of mine later tonight but I bolted mine to the rollbar just between the seats. It is not in the way of my head and the downfiring speaker is in a good position so that I can hear it even at highway speeds with the top down. I burned a small hole in the cover for the rollbar and ran my wiring through it so that it is completely hidden. The antenna is mounted on the right side of the tub in the back upper corner.

I've been using this mount in my '04 TJ for the past few years. I'm pleased with it and would recommend it. http://www.quadratec.com/products/96080_200.htm

Tools:
Dremel with router bit
Duct tape to seal off the newly opened vent
Right angle adapter for antenna cable

Sure, the passenger doesn't have the forward vent, but I don't use AC and so the heat is on defrost most of the time (it's on forward vent in the pics to test how the vents worked and to blow out loose plastic shavings).
