Magnetic CB mount/Tail light mount

Sorry for all of the CB posts, just trying to get this figured out.

Anyone have any experience with magnetic antenna mounts? How do they work for you. Is the "peaking and tuning" consistent if you put it in the same spot every time?

I'm also interested in mounting the antenna on my rear lights. However, I have a light guard back there. Is this going to create problems? At truck stops, I've seen "mirror clamps" that I've considered attaching to the guard itself. Would this be a good idea (would it fall going down the interstate)?
