I used this bracket with a Midland 1001Z CB for a few years, but I just installed a Cobra 29 LTD with bluetooth above the rear veiw mirror this past Sunday, I'll try to get pics today.

You gentlemen are the first to see this setup, I plan on starting a build thread with details on everything ive done on my jeep, including this. My goal as always is functionality, And clean install. I'm proud of myself with this one more than almost anything else ive done! \m/

That roof console is great looking. Is the rearmost compartment usable, or dead space?
I've seen that for the early TJs, and I would love to adapt it to my 2004.

I use a bracket I bought off Q-tec I think. Works great for my small Cobra radio.

Cobra 29 NW. Since I took this pic, I fastened the mic mount to the immediate right of the climate controls. Not too intrusive on my passenger with the seat back all the way. Easy power hook-up too.

blkrubi88 - Did you not like the old mount you had? I have been debating on one of those for my mounting solution, I really don't think I would like an overhead and dealing with even more wiring.

I think he moved it because he got a new CB that is too large to go there...
