I'm in the process of doing mine with Poison Spyder trail corners and some side marker lights I rigged up from NAPA. There will be a write-up when I finish the install. I still have some painting to do and all the wiring. The corners will be tan to match the body, and I still need to make a license plate bracket.
Here's a teaser pic...

That looks awesome! I like the side markers. Post up a link so we can see it when its done.

Sebastian, clean work! question on which led's you ordered... when i clicked on your link it gave me two options- Flange or grommet. Looks like you have the flange, what is the differences or pros and cons if you will of the two?

I just did my LED install, and I didnt change the flasher. Everything is fine. Any specific reason we have to change the flasher?
I got a set of piranha's from Northern Tool.

Thank you, the one i got was the flange mount. I liked the idea of being able to bolt them on, just felt more secure for me, and i like the look more. the grommet mount is, well, the same light with a rubber grommet around it. I think provinT13 on the forum, got the same lights with the grommet mount, check out his build thread for a picture to compare.

I also didnt have any issues but while i was doing it i wanted to just change the flasher, just in case. i cant really explain it. some people have issues with the normal flasher and some dont.

I'm doing the TJ gas relocation and LED lights. I wired up the passenger side and tested. The parking and brake lights work but when I put the signal on, I get no flashing at all. I thought that, because of the lower voltage of the LEDs, the lights would flash faster, as if a bulb is out. But I get no flashing at all. If I put on the 4 ways, they flash. Slowly, but they still flash. Am I getting no signal flash because the driver's side isn't connected yet? Or do I need to replace the flasher? The lights are wired up correctly. Also, how the heck do you get the flasher out? Mine won't budge and I don't want to pull on it too hard and break something.
UPDATE: Pliers work wonders. I got the old flasher out, put the new one in and SHAZAM! I have turn signals.

Minor comments:
1 - You can probably substitute copper for the stainless steel. You can easily sweat solder rings onto the ends of the copper to serve as a flare.
2 - I exclusively use fuel injector-type hose clamps. They cost more but look better, seal better, tighten without harming the hose, and don't loosen.
3 - Consider running a ground wire from the tubes (easy if you use copper) to the frame of the car or, better, the tank to prevent static from building up as fuel flows through those flexible lines. Yes, it can happen, pretty rare, but something you will remember if you ever get a static discharge while fueling.

I have installed new 3 wire led brake lights on my 76 CJ5. I have replaced the flasher so my blinkers work for turn and for hazzard, my brake lights work when you apply the brake. My problem is that when turning on my lights I have no tail lights but everything else works side markers front headlights and front turn signals all work except the rear tail lights. Any ideas or fixes? can u help?
